It's always interesting to watch when children take charge of their learning. Today we played number BINGO in first grade, and instead of Señora Hoyos calling the numbers, a student was selected to be the caller. Students were so excited to be the "profesor/professora" and practice their numbers! Today we celebrated the birthday of the ant in third grade. Students were so excited to join together with Sra. Fonseca's class to celebrate such a fun occasion. Third Graders honored La Hormiga by making paper ants and snacked on treats. Enjoy photos from our fiesta and a cute little video in honor of La Hormiga. Sra. H Today, 3rd graders filled out their, "Todo Sobre Mi" (All About Me) to introduce themselves to the class. Students filled out the questionnaire and presented their personal favorites to their peers. Welcome to my first post! I am so excited to pair two of my passions-technology and love of language. Even though I enjoyed my summer vacation, I am thrilled to start my first year as a Lovett Lower School Spanish teacher. This year, I will teach all of kindergarten, first grade, and one section of third grade with Señora Fonseca. If you have any questions, concerns, or simply want to say hi, please feel free to contact me via e-mail: [email protected] or (404) 262-3032, ext. 1166.
